Can you blame a girl for wanting to have some fun with her best pals before her wedding? Especially when the girl is a computer engineer and one of 4 women in a class of 60 students. Rebeca Abrantes, a 24-year-old newly-wed from Brazil, was sad when she realized she didn’t have any close girlfriends to have a bridal photoshoot with. But one week before the wedding she came up with a brilliant idea to invite her bros instead and have as much fun as possible together. Did it all work out? You bet! Rebeca ended up creating one of the most unconventional bridal photoshoots and spent great time with her close friends. Here are 11 photos that have already gone viral.
On Facebook, Rebeca wrote: “When the bride doesn’t have any girlfriends, it’s time to call her bros. This is what happens to a girl in Computer Engineering.”
Rebeca studied with 56 male students, so no wonder that her best pals are guys. But what’s even better, these guys really know how to have fun!
Usually the ‘making of’ pictures of brides include a gang of girls, a considerable amount of champagne and loads of laughs. Rebeca definitely had all that, but instead of giggly girls she had a bunch of handsome guys!

“I was looking into some “making of” pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that” – Rebeca shared in her interview with Bored Panda. It’s a good thing she has so many great friends that know how to have a laugh!
Rebeca admitted that the photoshoot turned out to be more fun than everyone expected. They were taking shots of cheap booze and sometimes laughed so hard they had to stop a few times to recover from all the fun and continue shooting.
Rebeca still finds herself laughing like crazy when looking at these photos. But she could never imagine people would like them so much!
It’s safe to say everyone enjoyed themselves before, during, and after the photoshoot. Fernado Duque did a great job!
