Marriage is a difficult thing to understand these days. It’s way less important than it used to be, but yet in many ways it’s more important. If in the past it was something everyone strived for and you absolutely had to get married, and the younger the better, unless you wanted to be considered a complete loser, loner or worse – spinster. Now marriage is way less critical to our happiness. We’ve learned that we can actually live a pretty awesome life without getting married. You can date for longer without any expectations, you might even not consider marriage as an option. But that means that if you do get married it’s a choice you made, it means more, because you didn’t have to, but still chose to get married.
So when’s the right time to get married? Well it’s hard to tell. So many things go into that decision, and really there is not set time to get married, you just have you take your time and make sure you met the right person. But it might be fun to see what your zodiac sign has to say about that. It’s impossible to pinpoint the exact age, but we can figure out a relative timeframe at least.
1.Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 18)
People born under this sign value freedom, so a lot of the time we don’t see them settling down early on. They will cling to their freedom as long as they can. However, there’s another thing they value a lot, and that is security. So if they find a person who has the same values and also understands the importance of freedom, they might consider marriage earlier.
2.Pisces (Feb 18 – Mar 20)
Pisces have a tendency to get lost in thought. They have a very interesting and deep, imaginative inner world, so it’s easy for them to get lost in it. This makes it difficult to them to stay in relationships for a long time, since to the other party it just looks like they’re just not present because they’re bored or something. This also means that it’s unlikely for Pisces to marry young. It takes patience and wisdom for people to learn to appreciate Pisces inner world.
3.Aries (Mar 20 – Apr 19)
Aries are quite impulsive and tend to make rushed decisions, so it’s not unusual for them to marry young and then get divorced. Perhaps do that a couple of times. The best idea would be to just wait it out and be rational, but not all Aries can do that. They often get swept up in passion and don’t wait long enough to see if it’s just love or infatuation.
4.Taurus (Apr 19 – May 20)
Those whose Zodiac sign is Taurus tend to be measured and level-headed. Those are great traits when it comes to long term commitments. It’s likely they will get along with people and if they choose to marry young, they probably won’t regret it. In fact, it might help them grow as a person and they will flourish in a loving and committed relationship.
5.Gemini (May 20 – Jun 20)
If you’ve ever met a Gemini you’ll know that they love relationships, be it romantic ones or friendships. Just being in a relationship for them is fun. But they also tend to get bored quite quickly, so it’s not unusual for them to either move from one relationship to another quite quickly, or just choose to remain single and date around. It’s rare for Geminis to marry early. Most of the time it takes them a long while to find someone they won’t get bored with, so they tend to marry quite late, when they’ve had a chance to mature, calm down and be ready to settle down.
6.Cancer (Jun 20 – Jul 22)
The idea of marriage and family is very appealing to cancers. They tend to be very family oriented people, so they marry young. They find someone to fall in love with, and if that person has similar world views, they don’t wait long. They truly enjoy the process of creating a family and taking care of it. It’s what makes them happiest.
7.Leo (Jul 22- Aug 22)
Leos are serial monogamists. They love long term relationships and are rarely seen just dating around. They’re picky though, so they will choose to be single for a long time, over a string of dates. What they’re looking for is comfort. But once they find someone who’ll treat them right, they’re happy to stay, they won’t look for love elsewhere. When it comes to marriage though, it’s really up to them. They can choose to stay in a relationship for ages, or to move things along and get married, but they’re the ones to choose the pacing.
8.Virgo (Aug 22 – Sep 22)
Virgos are very goal oriented. Not only do they set goals for themselves, they also know how to achieve them. So it all depends. If they choose their work and career as their top priorities they probably won’t even think about marriage until they’re where they want to be professionally. However, they don’t see marriage as something that will prevent them from achieving success. It’s just that few of them aim at just marriage. Many Virgos choose to marry young, in order to tick that box and move on to the other goals they’ve set for themselves.
9.Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 23)
Libra’s often are into the idea of marriage. They just like the thought of it, but rarely have enough time to contemplate what it really is before rushing into it. Because of their undecided nature, Libras can sometimes marry young and regret it later. However, if they take their time and choose to wait with marriage until they’re absolutely sure, they often find happiness in later years.
10.Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
Scorpios often find themselves torn between two extremes. On one hand they fall in love quickly and madly, on the other hand, they also fall out of love quite swiftly. This often means that Scorpios end up getting married and divorced a few times throughout their life. The reason for this is their insecurity, but if they can work on their issues and find a way to fix them – they are more than capable of getting married and staying happy at any age.
11.Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 22)
Sagittarius loves freedom most of all, a lot like Aquarius, if not more. They cherish that feeling of freedom and they don’t like being tied down by family obligations. So it’s really rare to see them settling down early, unless they find someone who will allow them that freedom and instead of tying them down, will propel them even further and go on adventures to explore the world with them. In most cases though, Sagittariuses marry when they’re older.
12.Capricorn ( Dec 22 – Jan 19)
Capricorns aren’t scared of responsibilities, instead they welcome them. So the idea of marriage isn’t daunting to them, they just see it as a stepping stone in life. Something to further their growth and expand their scope of responsibilities. They often marry early on in their life and it’s not surprising for Capricorns to become young parents either.
